A dream holiday can begin now
You will enjoy all amenities of a privileged location at the Mittermoarhof. Our house is situated in the small but extraordinary charming village Albeins/Albes south of Brixen/Bressanone.
The episcopal city is only a few driving minutes away. Although located very central in Albeins/Albes, it’s very quiet at the Mittermoarhof, what makes it to an ideal relaxing vacation. That’s probably also due to the “Bangart” of the orchards, which surround the house.
The perfect location of the Mittermoarhof impresses also elsewise: due to the vicinity to the local mountain of Brixen/Bressanone, the so called Plose, the Lake Radlsee together with the Königsanger, the cloisters Neustift and Säben, the medieval city Klausen/Chiusa, the Villnöss valley with the Geisler and the Peitlerkofel/Sass Putia, the alpine pastures of Villanders/Villandro, Feldthurns/Velturno, Rodeneck/Rodengo and Lüsen/Luson, as also the alpine pasture of Gitschberg, the Mittermoarhof is the ideal starting point for excursions, hikes and hill walks.
Also the heart of the cyclists and mountain bikers will be fulfilled with their desires: for bikers, who like it comfy, the Eisacktal/Valle Isarco – bike path is only 800 m away. For ambitioned mountain bikers, several tours start directly from the Mittermoarhof or are reachable in a few minutes.
Who prefers to linger over at the pool or at the bathing lake, can choose between the swimming pools Aquarena (also indoor pool) in Brixen/Bressanone, Feldthurns/Velturno or Klausen/Chiusa – or can rather take a bath in the lake of Vahrn/Varna or in the natural bathing lake in Lüsen/Luson.
In autumn, the best farms for “Törggelen”** are reachable in a few minutes.
Winter time in the Eisacktal/Valle Isarco offers everything your heart desires: ski areas, cross-country ski runs, toboggan runs, ski tours, snow shoe hikes and much more!
So what are you waiting for? Come and visit us at the Mittermoarhof!
*“Bangart“: ancient German name of orchards
**”Törggelen”: when countless farmers open their doors and serve the pick of their harvest from their field, cellar and kitchen
